Sannae Village Yanggaeng Story

Smoke rises into the sky for hours in a rural village in Chowon-ri, Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do. Adhering to the traditional method, the red beans are being boiled in a large pot.
Put the washed red beans in the pot until clear water comes out, wait until it boils once, and drain all the water. It is said to be one of the know-how of Sannae Village to get rid of the bitter taste of red beans. Boil for more than 10 hours, put it in a grinder, grind it again, and pass it through a fine sieve to filter out any foreign matter or coarse particles. After that, if you boil it again in a pot for 5 hours, the pure red bean paste is finally completed.

Sannae Village is a producer of Durae Cooperative, which has been sticking to only domestic Korean agricultural products for 13 years from 2005 to the present, and making healthy yanggaeng by directly brewing pure sediment. In addition to red bean yanggaeng, sweet pumpkin yanggaeng, sweet potato yanggaeng, and chestnut yanggaeng are also made using the same method to make yokan. We do not handle agricultural products without domestic/pesticide-free certificates, and in particular, only organic chestnuts are used.
